Shawn and his wife Heather feel blessed that they were given the opportunity to learn how to not only help their own child, but have been able to go on to help many others as a result. His daughter Alexi is currently 20 years of age and has transformed her health over the past several years and now gone on to win the 2019 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant. Shawn realized that there was something missing from his approach in practice. With the sudden onset of health issues and after visiting multiple doctors and specialists all over the country, Dr. What started as stomach pain, spread into pain in her joints, bumps, rashes and acne all over her body, weight gain, anxiety and severe hormone imbalances with her cycle. He knew from a young age he wanted to help people as a doctor and chose to become a chiropractor.Īfter being in practice 4 years, their oldest child, Alexi, started developing health issues as a young teenager.

Throughout his 15 years in practice, he has had the opportunity to help lead other young doctors in practice, has opened 3 practices of his own and has worked with professional athletes, families and people ranging from newborn to over 90 years of age. He is married to the love of his life Heather for the past 20 years and is a father to their 6 beautiful children. Shawn Bladel, D.C., is the owner of the Wellness Way Rockford.
